Whale and Dolphin Observation Center

This is my some of my concept sketches for the second design we have to do. Our portfolio hand in date is the 18th of June. Have a lot of work to do before then. Luckily my work is coming on well so hopefully I will not have many late nights this coming week.

INVENTIVE WOODEN BRIDGE

Found this amazing timber bridge that is located in Amsterdam. Unfortunately the bridge is only at concept stage.  The architect who designed the bridge is Laurent Saint-Val.

The form of this bridge is just amazing and it is not only a pedestrian bridge but also features a restaurant, bike shop and a garden. The bike shop is a means to promote sustainability and to reduce the carbon footprint of the city.

The featured materials includes timber, aluminium and glass. The large windows allow natural light to penetrate the interior, while also creating an unobstructed view of the outside.

Dalrymple Pavilion

Architects: Silvio Rech and Lesly Carstens Architects and interiors

This is a really beautiful pavilion. The clients wanted a place where they can entertain guests outside their home. And I love how simple but striking this design is. Especially the swimming pool that extends over the lower floor.

Home Grown Luxury Home

Architects: Nico van der Meulen Architects
Location: Limpopo, South Africa

The house is really stunning with its water features around the house. The water features helps to create natural cooling, because Limpopo is very hot and dry climate with plenty of sunshine. The article is found on Milk Design

Portfolio - Computers

So after I reworked my 3D's for portfolio, this is the end result. Still waiting for my mark on my Lumion interior. But this is the layout I am going to use for my Computers portfolio.

You can definitely see the difference between the 3D max rendering and the autocad rendering. the Max rendering give more depth and the textures were way better! Although I found that you need a lot of patience with Max, because the settings can be very sensitive, but having so many settings you can change, gives you an overall better result! Quite happy with my renderings.
My kiosk design

A while back I posted some inspiration for this project. This is the end results.

I did the modeling in AutoCad and the rendering in Lumion. Did not get the exact effect I wanted with the textures. But I am quite happy how it came out.
